      Aerobics

      Aerobics classes are currently offered online! The class is broken up into three segments to include Low Impact for beginners, Mid Impact for those who train moderately, High Impact is for those who are fitness enthusiasts. We use music that is sure to keep you excited about moving, sweating and getting the results you came looking for!

      Boot Camp

      Boot Camp is held outdoors at various parks in Columbus, Georgia. Schedules to include days, times and fee's can be found by clicking on the KBH Boot Camp link above.

      Personal Training

      Personal Training is offered at 5 am Monday - Friday.

      Aqua Training

      Aqua Training is offered during the Spring and Summer months.

    • I want to keep my butt and lose my gut!

      Over the years I've heard countless women say, "I only want to lose my belly." But the reality is that we can not spot reduce.

      The theory behind spot reduction is that when you exercise a set of muscles, fat is lost in that area. For example, if you perform abdominal exercises, you’ll drop stomach fat. While spot reduction might seem like simple common sense, the reality is different. One example is the crunch, a popular abdominal exercise. When you perform a crunch, you strain your ab muscles. If you keep doing crunches regularly, your ab muscles will grow larger and stronger. At the same time, every body movement uses up energy.When food is consumed, excess calories are transformed into stored, subcutaneous fat. This process is reversed in exercise, when calories are metabolized into fuel for the muscles. Since working out makes your body use up calories, any sort of exercise will help you drop the pounds. When the body resorts to burning fat that has been stored, it doesn’t use the stored fat nearest the muscles being flexed. Instead, fat from the entire body is burned. Don’t believe the hype. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is — especially when someone is trying to sell you something.

      Does Waist Training Waste Time?

      Waist Training became very popular with the birth of The Body Magic. Women all over the world flocked to Body Magic Parties with the hope to finally find the answer to a tiny waistline and flat tummy but to their surprise many realized that the waist trainer was nothing more than a corset to help with posture and support. We must always remember that abs are made in the kitchen and that what we eat in private will show up on us in public.

      Fill your plate with green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, moderate amounts of lean meats and drink lots of water.

      Why should women LIFT?

      Most women tend to think of weight training as "taboo" because of their lack of knowledge and understanding. I've heard countless women make claims of skipping the weights to avoid looking like a man. Today I want to share a few tips on why it is important for women to L-I-F-T!

      LIFTING weights gives the body muscle mass which allows the body to burn fat and helps to preserve our bone health. Think of it this way, each time you train with weights your body has an opportunity to lose the stubborn fat that loves to hang around our thighs, arms and waist line. Lifting weights IGNITES our internal furnaces to kick start our metabolic clocks. As we age our metabolism slows, lifting weights is one way to increase the fat burning mode. Lifting has been scientifically proven to FIGHT against fat even during our rest time. Yes, even when you are at rest your body is still working after a weight lifting session. I have yet to consult with a client who frowned on having a Tight, Toned body. Join me to fight against Obesity, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Cancer, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Depression and so much more. Skinny is not the motivation, healthy living is the key!
